Take Interstate 81 to Whitney Point, New York (18 miles north of Binghamton, 58 miles south of Syracuse).

Get off at exit 8 and follow the signs for rte. 26 north. This will get you to the east side of the lake.

The entrance to Dorchester Park is less than 2 miles up on the east side of the lake.
