SUNFISH REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
DATE : JULY 8 & 9, 2000
PLACE: FALMOUTH YACHT CLUB, FALMOUTH, MA 02540
RULES: The regatta will be governed by the 1997-2000 ISAF Racing Rules of
Sailing (RRS), the prescriptions of US SAILING, the rules of the
Sunfish Class, and by the sailing instructions. USCG approved PFD must be
worn at all times while on the water.
ELIGIBILITY: Must be members of the United States Sunfish Class
Association
SCHEDULE: Registration Saturday, 0900-0930. Skippers' Meeting 0930.
Start first race 1000. Sailing instructions/chart available at
registration.
SCORING: The Low-Point Scoring System, Appendix A2 of the RRS, will apply.
PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded on the number of entries: 3 or more,
first place; 5 or more, second place; 8 or more third place; 11 or more,
fourth place; 15 or more, fifth place, etc.

OTHER INFORMATION
DIRECTIONS: Follow Route 28 to Falmouth. Approximately one mile after the
end of the divided highway, go left at first traffic light (Jones Road).
At second traffic light go right (Route 28 heading toward Falmouth Center).
At approximately 1/2 mile, the road forks (Friendly's on your left). Bear
left leaving Bank of Boston to starboard (Falmouth Heights Road). Follow to
end.
Vineyard Sound in front of you and Falmouth Yacht Club on your right
FOOD: Coffee, juice and munchies at 0830 Saturday & Sunday.
Dinner Saturday night.
Lunch on your own - FYC Snack Bar is open 1100-1500.
